Q- How safe is shopping online with Citywide Florist?
We understand your concerns about submitting information online so we process your credit card payment through DPS payment system which means we do not hold any information on our premises.
Q- Will my gift look like the photo on the website?
Every endeavour is made to ensure your item is the same as the photo, however with seasonal availabilty we sometimes have to substitute with an item of the same value and quality.
Q- How will my flowers be packaged?
All Citywide flowers are wrapped in special waterproof florist paper and trimmed with nettings and ribbons to tone with your flowers. If your flowers are a simple bouquet of cut flowers we wrap the stems in wet papers then cellophane so they have moisture until arrival. A bouquet can also be made into a water box, this acts as a vase. It is trimmed with nettings and ribbons, again to tone with the flowers. All flowers going on delivery will have a sachet of flower food attached.
Q- When will my order be delivered?
We deliver Monday to Saturday. Deliveries begin at 9am with the last courier leaving mid afternoon. Unless a special request is made, your order will go on the next schedualed delivery. If your gift is to be delivered outside of Christchurch city it may have to go the following morning as the rural courier leaves early morning. We will be in contact with you regarding delivery if there is a problem.
Q- How much is your delivery fee?
If you are sending within Christchurch we charge $14.50. Outer areas of Canterbury the fee is $22.00 and elsewhere within NZ the fee is $24.50.
Q- Can I get confirmation that my order has arrived?
We can trace your gift at anytime so please let us know if you need confirmation.
Q- What if nobody is home when my gift arrives?
The courier will leave it in a safe place out of the weather. They will leave a note in the letter box to say when and where the gift has been left. If it is unsafe to leave it they will drop it on the next run or bring it back to us and we will contact the recipient to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
Q- What will my message be written on?
At Citywide Florist we have a own gift card printed with our shop logo. It can be sealed at your request. The card is threaded onto ribbons and attached to the bouquet.
Q- Can I create my own gourmet basket?
Yes, just send us an email if you need to send a basket with certain dietary requirements. You can also select items from our other baskets to create your own mix.
