- No fresh flowers are allowed in the following wards: A3, A4, A5, A8, B3, B4, B8, Wards 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24–30, CHOC, Bone Marrow Unit, TW Unit, ICU, AMAU, CICU, DOSA, DSU, PHDU, UU.
- No latex balloons in Wards A7 and B7.
- You can send helium foil balloons, pamper packs without flowers, soft toys, and gift baskets.
Christchurch Women’s Hospital
- No fresh flowers are allowed in Maternity Wards, Birthing Suites, Neonatal Unit, and Gynaecology Acute Assessment.
- You can send helium foil balloons, pamper packs, soft toys, and non-floral gift baskets.
Burwood Hospital
- No flowers are allowed in Admitting Unit, PACU, and Progressive Care Unit.
- All other wards allow fresh flowers, gift baskets, pamper packs, and balloons.
Southern Cross, Forte Health, St George’s, Rangiora and Lincoln Hospitals
Fresh flowers and gifts are allowed in all wards.
