Hello, having grown up on my parents flower farm, I guess I can say I have been in the flower industry most of my life. From going to the flower market as a child to starting my first job from school in a florist shop, Julia Gray Florist, it's always been about flowers!
I owned my first flower shop when I was 19 years old and traded successfully for 7years until selling the store to care for my young family. Opened Citywide Florist in the year 2000 in Christchurch Central City. Unfortunately the Christchurch Earthquakes damaged my premises so I traded from home until finding our new location in Addington.
I have been very involved in the floristry industry and served 5 years as a Director of Interflora Pacific Unit which I found very rewarding. I was also the very first Christchurch florist to obtain a liquor license so we ae able to make our gift baskets extra special!
I love my job and helping customers is the most rewarding part.
